The Zaporizhzhia Foundry and Mechanical Plant (ZFMP) Kryvyi Rih division established the necessary technology in 2023 to produce a new, significant product for Ukrainian coke producers. The press release from the company states this.
Experts in ZFMP have started manufacturing a push rod, which is a crucial component for coke plants. It is big and has numerous toothed racks, plates, control teeth, and other parts. The coke cake is forced out of the coking chamber by it.
Zaporizhkoks, Kametstal, and Yuzhkoks placed an order for four such parts, which were produced by ZFMP specialists last year. For Zaporizhkoks, the largest bar was designed.
Its length is 28 metres, and its weight is nearly 28 tonnes. The products’ excellent quality was attested to by the Coca-Cola makers, who are already successfully utilising them in their business.
Zaporizhkoks ordered ZFMP to produce a coke oven basket, as the Shree Metal Prices previously reported. Coke engineers will be able to efficiently unload finished goods while preserving the ideal temperature and quality of coke thanks to the 14-ton metal structure.
